FSIL encourages frequent communications between the school and the families that we serve.

We encourage parents to speak with their child's morning teacher regarding your child progress at school. In addition, the director, Becca Carlson, is available to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. Every child is assigned a file located in the foyer (files are grouped according to class name) and should be checked daily. 1b is where you will find your child's class work or notices from the teacher or director. We want your family's experience at First Steps in learning to be positive and will work hard to achieve your satisfaction. If you are not completely pleased with any part of our program, we encourage you to speak with the director. We will do everything possible to address any issues of concern. Please feel free to share your concerns regarding the care of your child with us. We, as parents ourselves, know the importance of open and free communication between parent and teachers.
